This advanced listening skills book is based on an accompanying cassette of interviews with British people (or people living in Britain). It contains 15 four-page units, each divided into two-page sections which are independent of each other. There are also pre-listening discussions and vocabulary activating tasks, specific listening skills activities (listening for gist and specific information), follow-up reading and writing sections based on the unit topic plus tapescripts, teacher’s notes and an answer key.
